Understanding our cancellation and refund policies

1. Cancellation by Customer
Customers can cancel a ride request at any time through the BookRide app or website. The cancellation policy varies based on the type of ride and the timing of the cancellation.
1.1. Free Cancellation Period
You may cancel your ride free of charge if you do so within 5 minutes of booking or before the driver is assigned.
1.2. Charged Cancellation
A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel after the free cancellation period or after the driver has arrived at the pickup location. The exact fee will be displayed in the app.
2. Cancellation by BookRide
BookRide reserves the right to cancel a ride due to unforeseen circumstances, such as driver unavailability, vehicle breakdown, or extreme weather conditions. In such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged to the customer.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds for pre-paid rides will be processed according to our refund policy. Cancellation fees, if applicable, will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds typically take 5-7 business days to process.
4. How to Cancel
To cancel a ride, open the BookRide app or website, go to "My Rides," select the active ride, and choose the "Cancel Ride" option.
5. Special Cases
5.1. Airport Transfers
For airport transfers, a longer free cancellation period may apply. Please check the specific terms at the time of booking.
5.2. Long-Distance & Hourly Packages
Cancellations for long-distance or hourly packages may have different policies. Refer to the booking details for more information.
